teens and their friends are likely already considering how Christianity
stacks up against competing beliefs. But when they encounter skeptics,
agnostics, and atheists within their peer groups, or when they pursue
higher education in college or university, and when they enter the
workforce, it is critical that they be prepared to meet these challenges
to their faith.
We
have an immense responsibility to prepare and equip our children to be
ready to respond, with grace and truth, to the inevitable intellectual
questions and spiritual challenges that will come their way (I Peter
3:15). Each year, the Real Faith for the Real World teen track
is a huge hit with both teens and their parents. And we often hear
great reports of discussion that extends far beyond the convention,
creating great conversation between parents and teens and serving to
help equip those teens for their road ahead.
