15 Critical Issues with the CRPD
ParentalRights.org, in collaboration with our allies at Home School Legal Defense Association, is proud to introduce 15 Critical Issues with the CRPD, our latest scholarship concerning the dangers of the proposed disability treaty that would threaten American civil rights.

Proponents of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) have been promising a second attempt at its ratification since we defeated their first effort in December, 2012. Current rumors hint at its arrival in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in as little as 3 weeks.

But like the thousands of you reaching out to Senators and urging them to oppose ratification, we have not been idle. ParentalRights.org, HSLDA, and other valuable allies in this fight have been working non-stop behind the scenes so that when the treaty returns, we will be ready. 15 Critical Issues represents one small part of that hidden work.

Please take a few minutes today to look it over and familiarize yourself with the concerns raised by this treaty. Share it with your family and friends – especially those who deal with disabilities, or whose children have disabilities.

Then, print out a copy and share it with your senators. If you haven’t already scheduled a visit with them yet, you still have two weeks left. Here’s how you can set that up, step by step.

Thank you for standing with us to protect the right of parents whose children have disabilities to make educational, medical, and other vital decisions for their precious families.

Sincerely,

Michael Ramey
Director of Communications & Research
